Hello, my name is Nancy Milligan and I am the founder and director of Nancy Milligan Medical Ltd. I have been working as a medical writer for about 14 years and possess comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge in a wide range of document types and therapeutic areas. I am also comfortable and confident tackling new subject areas or documents meaning that whatever your medical writing needs, I can help you. I like to think I have a good reputation as a medical writer.

My academic background is in psychology and neuroscience, including experience running my own clinical research trial during my placement at Hammersmith Hospital (as part of my postgraduate degree at Imperial College London). My previous positions in contract research organisations (CROs) provided me with an understanding of the drug development process, along with the formal training and wealth of experience I needed in order to set up my own company.

I am a member of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) and have completed the EMWA professional development program at the foundation level (multidisciplinary certificate gained in 2007) and the advanced level (certificate gained in 2010). I regularly attend EMWA's conferences all over Europe and I have contributed to EMWA's official journal, Medical Writing. I also have regular training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
